学院简介

東安格利亞大學(xué)University of East Anglia 座落于諾威奇成立于1961年，由18個(gè)學(xué)院和一些研究機(jī)構(gòu)組成。目前，共有學(xué)生8,300人，其中本科生6,100人，研究生2,200人。如果包括修讀基礎(chǔ)課程的學(xué)生，該校外國(guó)留學(xué)生總數(shù)達(dá)1,500人，其中約90名中國(guó)學(xué)生。

學(xué)校在教學(xué)和科研等諸多領(lǐng)域都有著輝煌的成就。

其新聞傳媒類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)，在英國(guó)大學(xué)的專(zhuān)業(yè)排名中名列全英第二名。

生物科學(xué)和工程專(zhuān)業(yè)，最近被英國(guó)教育投資委員會(huì)授予滿(mǎn)分5分的最高評(píng)價(jià)，是英國(guó)4個(gè)得到滿(mǎn)分的大學(xué)之一。

環(huán)境科學(xué)是當(dāng)今世界的導(dǎo)引性邊緣科學(xué)。該大學(xué)的環(huán)境科學(xué)系是該專(zhuān)業(yè)英國(guó)最大的系科，并且最近被最近被英國(guó)教育投資委員會(huì)授予滿(mǎn)分5分，評(píng)價(jià)為:極其出色。

另外，該校在以下領(lǐng)域也卓有成就：計(jì)算機(jī)，商科，醫(yī)療保健，信息技術(shù)等。

從大學(xué)乘公共汽車(chē)很快便可到達(dá)諾威奇市中心。許多學(xué)生喜歡騎自行車(chē)。從諾威奇市到倫敦和倫敦的三個(gè)機(jī)場(chǎng)大約只需兩個(gè)小時(shí)。諾威奇國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)有直達(dá)阿姆斯特丹和世界其它各地的航班。

校園內(nèi)建有商店、銀行和自動(dòng)洗衣店等設(shè)施。建立了一套完善的保健、福利和咨詢(xún)服務(wù)系統(tǒng)，包括一個(gè)為外國(guó)留學(xué)生提供專(zhuān)家咨詢(xún)意見(jiàn)的學(xué)生處、一個(gè)專(zhuān)門(mén)的學(xué)生咨詢(xún)服務(wù)處、一個(gè)大學(xué)保健中心(提供國(guó)民保健制度下的醫(yī)療服務(wù)和牙科保健)、一個(gè)多教派教堂以及一個(gè)獨(dú)立的清真寺。學(xué)生會(huì)協(xié)調(diào)組織100多個(gè)學(xué)生俱樂(lè)部和協(xié)會(huì)的活動(dòng)，其中包括一個(gè)外國(guó)留學(xué)生協(xié)會(huì)和幾個(gè)全國(guó)性的團(tuán)體。那些不想自己做飯的學(xué)生可以在學(xué)校四個(gè)全天供應(yīng)伙食的食堂進(jìn)餐。

圖書(shū)館：大學(xué)圖書(shū)館藏書(shū)70余萬(wàn)冊(cè)，并有5千多種錄象資料供使用。館內(nèi)的計(jì)算機(jī)設(shè)施為學(xué)生每天開(kāi)放，可供24小時(shí)隨時(shí)使用。

該校具有全英條件最好的學(xué)生宿舍。大部分宿舍包括獨(dú)立的衛(wèi)生間。當(dāng)然也仍然有少數(shù)的普通單間宿舍。
